We have decided to get a backup internet connection just because our work depends on it. We currently are subscribers to PLDT DSL. It is good enough but not the very best. We are just thankful that our connection has stabilized and we are not experiencing any outages the past months. Still we can’t afford to risk not having an internet connection even for just one day so we decided to get a back up. Good thing that Sun Broadband is very cheap so we were able to buy one right away. Now we know we’ll have no more problem working online or downloading videos from youtube. We have more peace of mind now that we have two ISPs.

We have started an online business. This is a joint project of me and my husband. We have been hearing a lot about niche blogging and how profitable it is for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, we have a lot of excuses why we didn’t started our own niche blog. Now that hubby is working at home too we think we have no more excuse of make this into a reality. So we have started making niche blogs about different topics like equestrian apparel, maid of honor dresses, or anything that we think can translate to a lot of traffic. It is not an easy path and requires a lot of hard work but we know we can do this.
I’ve bought this domain at namecheap and then I had to set it up to be hosted in blogger. I had a hard time researching how so I contacted Namecheap support and this is what they taught me:
- login to your account;
- click on “Manage Domains”;
- click on the domain crushedpink.com;
- choose “All Host Records” from the left-side menu;
- enter ghs.google.com in the www field and select “CNAME (Alias)” from the drop-down menu;
- enter 216.239.32.21 in the @ field and select “A (Address)” from the drop-down menu;
- enter @ in “Host Name” column, 216.239.34.21 in “IP Address/URL” column and select “A (Address)” from the drop-down menu in “Record type” column in “Subdomains Settings” section;
- enter @ in “Host Name” column, 216.239.36.21 in “IP Address/URL” column and select “A (Address)” from the drop-down menu in “Record type” column in “Subdomains Settings” section;
- enter @ in “Host Name” column, 216.239.38.21 in “IP Address/URL” column and select “A (Address)” from the drop-down menu in “Record type” column in “Subdomains Settings” section;
- click “Save changes”.
That doesn’t end there you still have to login your blogger account and set up the publishing to your own domain. That’s it and you’re ready to go.
