Crushed Pink

My husband said we bought to much gadget this year that next year we will take a break from buying gadgets. I couldn’t agree more that’s why for Christmas I didn’t look at the mens gadgets section. Instead I bought something that he’ll use frequently and give him comfort – none other than a soft and fluffy pillow. LOL!

Anyway, it was hard to buy someone a gift when you’re with him all the time! When we finally went our separate ways at the mall I had a chance to buy my gift real quick. Eventually, we had to meet up again and I had a hard time hiding my gift! haha In the end he saw it but I still wrapped it and put it under the tree. My son ruined his surprise and told me they brought a gift for me too while I was away. So no surprises for the two of us on Chrismas day but we’re still happy. You see, this is the first time we exchanged gifts as husband and wife.

My son noticed me taking a lot of photos one day. I told him I wanted to take pictures so that I can blog about it later. He  took the camera and took pictures of me and my husband.

We’ve been married for six years. I can’t believe we’ll last this long but we did. Everything was not smooth sailing, we definitely have our highs and lows. But I have no regrets he is my husband. I can’t have a more kind hearted husband. He is also a fun and loving father to our kids.

This is my four year old brother. He was adopted by my dad and stepmother when he was just a few months old. They said when they first got him he was thin and dirty. His mother was poor and has many children and can’t take care of him properly.

Now just look at how fat he is. LOL!  He is also a very active and smart kid. He has known all along he is adopted. I think it was right of them to tell him early than late. I’m glad to report that he is doing great and seems well-adjusted.

Hooray, it’s his first time to ride the swing. Okay, so we cheated and took this photo real quick because he was squirming the whole time. Anyway, my 7th month old is really so cute that I can’t resist to take a picture of him. It was a real hot and humid day but we took advantage of this playground because we don’t have one near our home. Little Zachary was hot as you can see from the pick but he was such a good sport and didn’t cry. After playing around he went to sleep and didn’t wake up for a long time. I’m glad we can take him everywhere now unlike before. In a few months maybe we can even start going on out-of-town trips.

The cousins were still so small back then. This was taken two years ago when they were both 4 years old at Tagaytay. It was our first time to have a vacation in a vacation house formerly owned by my SIL’s husband. The house was already sold but I’m glad we were able to stay there even for a night. I realized how nice it was to live in Tagaytay during our stay there. The air was so clean albeit chilly. The kids really had a grand time playing to their heart’s content. When I become rich I would surely look for a property in Tagaytay and stay there for good.
