Our FIL arrived yesterday and I’m happy to report we will be starting the construction of our new house. The only need to do is get a building permit and the construction can already start. We haven’t talked about patio cushions just yet because we’ll be focusing on the foundation first. The furnishing of the house will just follow as soon as we have the money.

Our primary concern is the house should be elevated so it would not be flooded. Our place is prone to flood so that’s really important.

I hope the construction will push through as planned. Summer is already over and the rainy season is just around the corner.

I remember when we went to the spa to have our massage. The spa gave a nice homey feel. We immediately felt at ease. It was like we never left the comfort of our home but much better.

One thing mothers enjoy is buying appliances from washing machines to LCD TVs, and even portable radios give us joy. Since we have just gotten a new washing machine and haven’t even finished paying it off we can’t buy any new appliances as of the moment. It would be a great replacement for my lost wedding band.

Back to our sofa, what I love about this is it’s shape. An L-shape sofa would free more precious space in a small living room like ours. Yet, it is big enough to accommodate ten people! It was also ingenious of my dad to suggest that color because it meant I wouldn’t have to worry about ugly stains since I have two small kids in the house.
