Did you know that single parents can get help from the government by applying for a Solo Parent ID? If you are a single parent, just go to the City/Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office to apply for one. All you have to do is bring the following:
*Barangay certificate residency in the area
*Documents /evidence that the applicant is a solo parent (e.g. death certificate of spouse, declaration of nullity of marriage, medical certificate (if incapacitated)
*ITR or certification for the barangay/municipal treasurer
Solo parents will be entitled to livelihood, self-employment and skills development, employment-related benefits, psychosocial, educational, health and housing services.
